Vitamin C
Vitamin C is dosed in milligrams across a wide range, commonly 500 mg or 1,000 mg per serving, and sold as ascorbic acid or as buffered forms such as sodium ascorbate and calcium ascorbate. Ester-C and liposomal products are labelled separately and priced higher.
Format spreads unusually wide here — tablets, capsules, chewables, gummies, powders and effervescent tablets — and doses per unit differ sharply between them, with gummies typically much lower. Some products add rose hips or bioflavonoids, which appear on the panel with their own amounts.
