Herbal Supplements
Herbal supplements are the hardest category on the site to compare, because two bottles with the same plant on the front can be entirely different products. Turmeric may be listed as root powder or as a standardised curcumin extract. Ashwagandha is often sold as a named extract with a stated percentage of withanolides. Ginseng covers several distinct plants sold under one word.
So the figures that matter are the extract ratio, the standardisation percentage, and whether the milligram number on the front refers to raw herb or to extract. A 500 mg raw powder and a 500 mg 10:1 extract are not comparable, and the front label rarely says which you are holding.
Use the filters to narrow by brand, strength, format and pack size, then open a listing for a full review written from the product’s own label. Every product links out to Amazon.
