Whey Protein
Whey protein is sold as concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate, and the type determines protein per scoop — isolate is typically higher, concentrate typically lower with more carbohydrate and fat alongside it. The type is on the panel and often on the front.
The figure that makes products comparable is grams of protein per serving set against the scoop size, then servings per container. Tubs sold by pounds and tubs sold by servings sit side by side here, so cost per serving is the only fair comparison.
