Fish Oil

Fish oil is compared on EPA and DHA per capsule, not on the total oil weight that dominates the front label. A 1,000 mg softgel is a 1,000 mg softgel; the omega-3 inside it might be 300 mg or it might be double that.

The second variable is concentration and form — triglyceride and ethyl ester are both common and named on the back panel — followed by whether the product states a purity or heavy-metal testing standard. Softgel counts run high here, so pack size differences are large.
