Amino Acids

Amino acid supplements are sold in three overlapping shapes, and the labels rarely make the difference obvious. BCAA products carry three aminos — leucine, isoleucine and valine — usually in a stated ratio such as 2:1:1. EAA products carry all nine essential aminos, so the per-scoop total is spread wider. Single aminos such as L-glutamine do one job at one dose.

That makes the ratio and the gram total per serving the two figures worth reading before price. A 5 g scoop split across nine aminos is a different product from a 5 g scoop split across three, even where the tub size and the price look identical.

Most of this category is powder sold by the tub, so servings per container is the number that decides real cost — not the sticker. Use the filters to narrow by brand, format, strength and pack size, and open any product for a full review written from its own label. Every listing links out to Amazon.
